Savory Salami & Cream Cheese Stuffed Mushrooms
Mushrooms might not grow in my garden (borrowed picture above), but they’re still a gift from Mother Earth—and when you stuff them with rich, creamy goodness and savory salami, they become downright irresistible. This recipe is quick, easy, and perfect for gatherings (or just treating yourself!).
Ingredients:
16–20 button mushrooms
½ lb salami, finely chopped
1 (8 oz) block of cream cheese
Instructions:
Preheat & Prep: Set your oven to 400°F. Remove the stems from the mushrooms and clean the caps—whether you prefer a rinse or a quick wipe, you do you!
Soften the Cream Cheese: Pop the whole block of cream cheese into the microwave for about 30 seconds or until softened.
Mix the Filling: In a bowl, combine the chopped salami with the softened cream cheese, stirring until well mixed.
Stuff Generously: Spoon the mixture into each mushroom cap, piling it high (because more filling = more deliciousness).
Bake to Perfection: Arrange the stuffed mushrooms in a muffin tin to keep them upright. Bake for 20–25 minutes until the tops start to brown and bubble.
Enjoy! Let them cool slightly, then dig in. These are best served warm, when the filling is creamy, and the flavors are at their peak. Quick note, be sure to cut them in half — the inside stays hot for a long time.
