oh heyyyyy…

we brought flowers.

Our story

Blossom Valley Fruits & Flowers is a family-owned orchard and flower farm nestled on 22 acres in beautiful Northwest Michigan. We take pride in sharing our home-grown produce and flowers with our customers and community.

The original farmhouse was built in 1911, and was likely used as a homestead with livestock and a variety of crops. Kent purchased the house in 1998 and began work on renovating and restoring the house’s functionality and foundation (quite literally - ask him about the airplane jack!)

Our journey into farming didn't begin until 2008 when we planted 100 tiny apple trees. Then we patiently waited for them to start producing the beautiful variety of apples we are blessed to bring to markets today. Later, we added vegetable gardens, and most recently, we’ve ventured into the flower production business, with over 6000 plants!

“Happiness is to hold flowers in both hands.”

— Japanese Proverb

Picked with care

We hand-select only the best blooms and fruit, picked at just the right time to give you the longest-lasting enjoyment possible. Did you know some apples varieties are ready in late summer while others aren’t at their prime until after the first frost? Also, some flowers must be picked while they’re still buds to get the longest-lasting blooms, while others, we must wait until they’re fully open!
